Need help ID'ing master brake cylinder for 1970 GS, power drum brakes. Bottom of it reads 5118845 and and C at the end (front of car). Is this the tandem power brake unit or the Delco Maraine unit?

I need one, please email if you have a good conditioned one for sale. Thanks,

Does it look like this? This is a Delco unit for non-power or power drum brakes. The one shown is for a '68 but I believe they are the same. I think if you look closer the "c" that you are talking about will really be "CT", the other number is a casting number.

The style shown (with the two bleeder screws) is not currently reproduced but if you do not care about that you can buy a replacement from NAPA.

I believe GM also used a Bendix version that looks similar but without bleeder screws.

Mike I believe a 70 is different . The bales are mounted on the sides and not the ends.

    Ross,
The 70 manual/power drum units do look the same as the one posted by Mike Trom.

The MC with the 2 bales mounted on the sides is a 70 disc brake MC not a manual/power drum master cylinder.
