    Hi Everybody,

I am new to the board. I grew up in a GM family, my dad always had Buick GS's around for me and my brother to drive when we were teenagers.

All that changed decades ago when I married a Ford Guy!

So for a upcoming wedding anniversary, my Ford Guy husband found a numbers matching 1969 Buick GS California 350, and is restoring it.

My brother told me about this board, and said this is the best place to chat with other Buick fans and look for parts.

I'm looking forward to meeting other GS lovers and finding parts!

Welcome, Jane! Your brother is obviously an astute judge of Buick websites. This one is unmatched in friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and enthusiastic members. And I'm not exaggerating at all.

welcome jane, congrats on the Buick. read the rules for buying and selling here as there is a system in place. It will really help you acquire parts and make friends.

Welcome. I too am a Ford guy but i really enjoy the novelty of my Buick too as from what i have seen there are only 3 around here and one is more of a parts car then anything. As i have been told and believe you can go anywhere and see a Mustang or Camaro, but how often do you see a Buick or Oldsmobile? I know Fords are not all about Mustangs, even the Torino's, Cougars, Galaxies and Fairlanes are rarely seen anymore. But it seems Chevy's are everywhere in abundance. Of course with decent looks, cheap to build and parts readily available its a no wonder.

    Welcome from Bainbridge Island.

Feel free to post progress photos of the restoration, and ask questions as needed and find parts.

When is the car expected to be back on the road?

    Cheers!

Welcome from PA! I obviously own a Buick, but I also have a 69 Cougar, so I'm down with the blue oval as well!
