A Marion Ohio Sheriffs Deputy was shot and killed early this morning. Marion is about 30 25 miles north of Columbus where I am.

Some low life shot and killed this man, who leaves behind 2 young children and his wife...he was only 29. I am so mad I could spit nails.

The department I work with is joining the search for the suspects, and I will join if I can. Pray for the man and women who protect our way of life.

Unfortunently criminals aim for the head, since everyone is aware we wear body armor. Makes me sick.

Looks like I will not be able to join the search, but believe me, they will be found. Over 200 officers are combing the area now.

We should get back to the days of the ole west and execute immediately after the trial or as soon as they're caught, if the witnesses are credible. :blast:

TOO close to home for me, just a few miles from my inlaws(also my baby sitter) I hope they catch the remaining scumbag soon and string him up.......my prayers are with family.

How sad and pathetic. May God be with this man's family.
I missed the 11:00 news so I had not heard about this.
I live about a mile from the local OHP office and I see these guys all the time. I think it's pretty sad that each time someone is pulled over an officer, especially an HP officer, has to keep one hand on his holster at all times.
I only wish that there was enough tax money allocated to allow each and every patrol car to carry two officers.
