hi marco, i was just looking at your stage 1 registry ( again ) and i had a couple questions if i may. on the 1970 list, are the ones at the bottom of the list the most recent additions ? since mine is near the top, i assume they are in the order they register, from top to bottom. and how many 1970 stage 1 's are on there now ? i could've used a pm for this, but i thought others might be curious about this also. as you know, the sherwood green 1970's are my main interest. TIA.

    Hey guys -

All registry listings are in ascending VIN order, even though you can't see the serial numbers :)

So far, only 148 '70 Stage1s are registered. I know of several others that are not registered for one reason or another.

Interestingly enough, I've 'tracked down' 5 Sherwood Green '70 Stage1 convertible 4-speeds so far :Brow:

Now if I can only get the other 2 to register...

I have 13 coupes registered, including yours. THANK YOU for your support :TU:

5 sherwood green stage 1 four speed convertibles, WOW !

i need to check with sloan to see if there were any other 48-19 stage 1 's built. i need the daily report for that, correct ?

The reports will not go into that type of detail.

It will tell you total paint codes 48, and total top 19, but not the combination of the two - Sorry.

If the microfiche information is ever put into a 'relational database' (and combined with Wayne's info), then getting those figures is possible.

    Until then...

i forgot that sloan doesnt have all the 70 info. i'm willing to spend some bucks for the research, but to pay sloan and wayne would get expensive real fast. i wish sloan had all the 70's.

i would guess that theres not much chance that all this info will ever be put into a relational database, huh ?

it would be great if all 70 owners would chip in to make this info available. then we could all see how many cars like ours were built. both sloan and wayne would have to work together on that. i suppose it would be quite alot of data that would need to be entered into a computer. even if we do just the stage 1's that would be a major accomplishment.

i guess theres no way to compare all the stage 1's without going thru all the 1970 data. i get the feeling that would be very time consuming, and thus very expensive. dang.

    thanks, henry

Do you have all the GSX stage 1 cars that are in Mark's GSX registry. You should now have both of the ones we have owned.

But my question is why do you think there are only 19 1970 QQ Stage 1 Gsx 4 speeds and 15 10-10 code of the same. You would think there would be more QQ cars simply by ratios of total production.

    Jim -

Mark has asked the owners if they wanted to join the registry. I only have the ones registered who sent me their information.

I believe some cars are not registered...
