Don't do it Adam! You'll hate yourself. Take a look at fiftes and early sixties big car convertibles. They have gone mega $$$$. The Non chevy late sixties and early seventies convertibles are slowly rising $$$$$$. You gotta ask yourself, will you be able to get another someday when the value doubles? Plus, look how much you miss your LeSabre four door. I don't think this board could handle you lamenting the sell of your Convertible:laugh:

    NOOOOOOooooooo!!!!

Adam, I seriously think you'd be kicking yourself in the rear later on. I miss every car I've ever sold ('71 MGB roadster, '67 Mustang 289, '68 Skylark), even though it made darned good sense then and probably now to have sold them.

Several times over the years I've thought about selling, but held on to the 2NABOT (first car I ever bought), and I'm glad I did.

    Why?
    1. I know it inside and out.
    2. I can't afford to replace it with anything comparable (dependable, fun, and a GREAT tow vehicle!)
    3. It's cheaper to own and operate than anything I would/could replace it with.
    4. I can't think of anything I'd actually like to replace it with, except maybe a '67 Skylark, or a Wildcat or Centurion (convertibles all).
    5. Gas is the most expensive thing I put in it, and even at $2.50/gal (which it ain't around here yet...) that's a $50 fill up, which gives me at LEAST several HOURS of fun, which is still pretty cheap...
    6. I like it!

Now, if some silly person was to hand me $20K, I'd probably sell it, but then I'd probably just turn around and buy another one and spend all the money on it, and be back where I am right now!
