This year, I get to do something that I have always wanted to do. The Church's youth group is making a trip to Nicaragua this year. It was supposed to be during the school year, but they had to postpone it. Being one of the Youth group leaders they wanted me to go. I couldn't. But when they postponed it, that gave me my opening. We are going down to physically build a church for a group of believers in the Assemblies of God in one of the smaller villages. Needless to say, I need to raise some money. Please do not send me donations! I am going to sell off any of the extra buick parts I have to help finance the trip. See my posting on parts for sale. Anything that does not sell will go on e-bay. Anything that sells through V8B will earn a 10% donation to V8B I think that's fair.

    Thanks,

    Paul,

That sounds like a very exciting trip! How long are you guys going down for? I went to El Salvador in 2001 for a mission trip, and my friend has been to Nicaragua for mission work as well! :) What you are doing is very cool! I don't need any parts right now, but I will certainly pray!

Hmm... I would be willing to donate & sell some of my parts to the cause. I have nothing Buick, but some old BB Mopar parts.

sharkmonkey Give me something to hit!

    That's cool.
My church went to Nicaragua a few years back to build a house. I didn't get to go with them then and it looks like I won't get to go again. They are still talking about that trip like it was yesterday.

    Thanks!

We are tentatively leaving July 3rd and getting back the 11th. Any help would be great, but please don't send me money (it's the whole acountability thing, I like to be above-board) If you feel led, I can post who to send money to, but I'm not real comfortable with that.

    Thanks!

    Paul
