Call Big D Tri County Transmissions in Wilmington 910 762 0271 He can steer you in the right direction. There are a couple in Raleigh. flynbuick should be able to help you there.
The problem is that most will try to apply what they know from other manf. engines to yours. They will be wrong but they will not admit it. It is critical that you provde all the specs and insist they use your specs and record the measurements when it is fitted for assembly.

I have ran into that same engine thing but Gary Wingate at Quality Machine Shop has been the best on anything. There is no one smarter than him. He has me running in the low sevens 1/8th of the mile with a stock bottom and top except camshaft and intake. He is located at 222 Strand Industrial Drive, Little River SC 29566 (843) 399-4110.
