I would like some info on lowering springs, or air bags for my 67 electra. The springs sag in the back, but the front is all jacked up. I want both axels at about the same height...LOW:TU:
I plan on painting it a shade of gray and maybe with some ghost flames, but it NEEDS to be slammed. THANX

Call Eaton Springs of Detroit. Their webpage is www.eatonsprings.com. I got a set of two inch lowering springs for my '70 lesabre that were custom made and they gave the car an awesome stance. They can go from stock to 3" lowered, but 2" should be really low for your car as it was for my Lesabre. I believe I had close to $400 for all 4 springs and it took 2 weeks for them to make, but it's well worth it.

cool, i went to Eaton's site, $400 bones...thats not bad at all. it'll take me a month or two to get em, but until then what do you think about cuttin a couple of turns on the front just to match the back a little better? I have talked to a guy i work with, he said on the older cars it wouldn't hurt. he also told me to look into gitting some drop spindles...hmm sounds good, but i got drums in the front any other ideas?
