My wife got a phone call today from her Dad. He said "your brother died". She came out into the garage and told me that Dan was dead. Absolutely surreal. That is something you do not expect to hear considering he was 49 years old. He went to sleep last night and did not wake up this morning. He left a wife, a 16 year old son and a newly adopted 7 year old son and was a decent guy. We had some beers and laughs together over the years and got along well. We did not see him often but always looked forward to getting together when we did. His wife and sons could use some prayers as they will have some tough times ahead. -Mike

That is very a difficult thing to have to deal with.He was very young.I'm 39 with a 16 year old. I couldn't imagine not being here for him. Tell your family we will be praying for all of them and our hearts go out.

Life is FRAGILE! I found my dad dead 30 years ago when I was 10; he was only 47! That young age is especially difficult.

Hug your wife and be supportive.
