I recently stumbled on this car while looking for some parts for my 64. This thing ended up being in a junkyard, less than a mile as the crow flies from my house. I don’t know what the odds of it are, but I think it’s pretty slim. This car has been in the junkyard for 36 years. It is a numbers matching car, I verified it yesterday. Unbelievable.

The body on this car is completely rusted out and is not worth saving. It spent almost 4 decades in a junkyard with the windows rolled up and so it rusted from the inside out. The roof is nearly rusted off, it is in very, very poor condition. The Boxed chassis that was under it is in fantastic shape still and I have salvaged that and I am planning to put it under my 64. This is a numbers matching car and I did get the nailhead running, it runs fantastic. I will probably offer the nailhead and transmission that was behind it along with the Vin plate and trim tag off of the car for sale.
