Good morning - I have a steering wheel which I purchased a few years ago off of what I was told was a 1971-73 Electra. I had originally planned to use this to replace the wheel in my 1970 Wildcat, however I have decided to keep the car as cosmetically correct as possible. I would like to offer this wheel in trade for a 1970 Electra/Wildcat/LeSabre wheel - black only, please. I prefer a wheel with a hub mounted horn, but will consider a rim-blow wheel if is in working condition. The wheel I have is in good condition and includes the horn button. There are no apparent cracks or tears in the padding. The only cosmetic issue I can see is the word "Buick" is somewhat worn, however it is still readable. I cannot speak the condition of the electrical contacts because I never installed it. I can provide additional photos if necessary. Thanks - JM Location: Metro Atlanta
I believe I have one. Let me check. OK, I took some pics, but am not able to upload them in this thread until they are re-sized. I can email them to you, though, with the much higher resolution than allowed here. Just PM me your email address. The steering wheel is from a '70 Electra 225 and is the medium brown color (not the taupe/light tan and not the burnished brown/dark brown). It has a crack at the 12 o'clock position and would need to be restored. It has the complete horn center button/contacts/wiring as well.
