Here are some pictures of my set up. First is my tube manifold that I built first. I found cracks in it when I took the motor apart.

These are pictures of my log manifold. I had to reach through the fenderwell to get them. You can see parts of it, use your imagination and you can figure out how it looks.

These are pics of the oil pan and exhaust crossover from the stock drivers manifold, around the bellhousing, under the frame and up to the log manifold.

This is the blowoff vavle from a Volvo, and a couple more of the motor.

Nice setups , guys . Homemade rules ! What kind of ignition timing do you run ?

fourfiftyfive My car is a mess........

I've been thinking about the twin turbo setup I saw in a mustang in a recent car craft or hot rod... I can't remember but it placed the turbos in the trunk... either in the trunk or under it where my stock gas tank was it would be a cool remote-mount setup... especially thanks to the sleeper effect... lol. That way there would be a lot of piping to run, but it would be easier, at least in my mine, since the underhood area would be left looking "NA" and there no crazy bends or anything to fab up as with turbo headers... Idk, I'll probably just wait for mark "Justa350" to finish the 455 kit with the log manifolds... the 350 one is already out and has me thinking... lol :Dou:

    Brent,
Looks great! What's the difference between a blow off valve and a waste gate?
    Thanks, Allen:beer

A blow off valve keeps you from grenading an engine if a waste gate get stuck allowing the boost to continue to climb until the engine terminates itself. Not all turbos had them. I was flying right seat in a big twin engine Cessna 401 and one engine without the pop off valve mod had a waste gate stick on take off. When the right engine boosted its manifold pressure past what a P51 V12's Merlin pulls on take off my buttocks pulled such a vacuum that it immediately ripped up a patch of fabric from my seat. We got the plane down without dying but a new $35,000.00 (back then) 520 cid Continental engine was reduced to a large paperweight.

STS is the setup u r looking for smaller turbos fit under big ones can intrude the trunk . The remote oiling system 4 the turbos needs a pump .The cool feature is that u can run off ur headers 2 the turbos and the long boost side cools the charge down but does lose alittle presure along the way.Do ur reseach on the fuel system needed and there r different choices 4 the oil supply to turbos.
