I am looking for an original 1971 Skylark hood. My original hood to this car bit the dust when I plowed through a 200 lbs. deer at 70 mph. Amazingly, the hood and passenger fender was the only things that were harmed.

If you have an original 71 passenger fender, I'd take it too.

300 or 350 sbb and powerglide transmission. I am looking for something to tinker with. They can be oil burners or whatever, as long as they're not cracked or busted. Looking for a complete motor (minus carb or something), but would be interested in blocks.

I don't have much cash, so anything free would be right up my alley. I can pick these up if they are fairly close. I am located in Joplin, MO. I spoke with a fella a while back from Branson that had a hood, but I lost the screen name. Sorry. Thanks. :bglasses:

I'm swapping out the 350 in my '70 Skylark fairly soon.
It's my daily driver now, runs fine, but should be freshened up.
I'm taking the car out of daily status.
I'd like to sell it with the 350 tranny, but not set in stone.
I also will be getting rid of the hood which is in great shape.
70 and 71 are the same except for the hood lip molding.
    I'm just south of KC.
I can't do free, but will work with you on the price.
Always open to trades for other parts.
If interested let me know and I'll PM my e-mail adress with more info.

    Thanks, Jeff

I have a few items that I could trade. I have a GS hood for the 70/71 cars. It's got fresh paint on top and some rust on the underside. The underside rust if substantial, but it could probably be fixed. If I got the hood off you, I could use the GS as a trade. Judging by other GS hoods on the sight, I'd say it's probably worth somewhere in the $350-400 range. Really don't know. It just needs some TLC.

I also have a set of headlight bezels off a 71 Skylark. They are a good set of driver quality bezels. I'm sure we could work something out. I'll have a few bucks available. I'd like to get the 350/350 to use as a learning tool.

How much you looking to get out of the 350/350 and the hood? How soon are you looking to pull the motor? I wish I would have known, I just sold the breather that went with the hood. It would have been a great combo.

Still looking for the parts. I do have cash, I'm not a total begger. I am just looking to get some of the parts ASAP. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I think I have a '71 Hood at my dad's house. I will have to check. I also have a 1970 350-2bbl that I don't know what I was planning to do with. It was submerged in water when my garage flooded. I had it in my '79 Regal for a while. It ran well.

I don't know that I could get away to come get the stuff. I appreciate the thought, but I don't have anyway to get it. Sorry man.

I'm still looking for a hood and fender. I don't necessarily need the motor, but I do need a hood and passenger fender. Thanks.

Still got your hood out behind the shed...give me a shout when your ready to pick it up.:beer

You wouldn't happen to have a 225 laying around would you  ...seems the motor in my boat has lost all compression, figure it was the PO and way too rich on the fuel.
