As much as i tried to avoid doing this at all costs, im going to send my skylark out to have the metal work finished by people who know what they are doing 100%. Rather than me (a 20yo muscle car and buick enthusiast) try to learn as i go which im trying to. I just dont have time to do all of the metal work that needs done with the car as im working 7 days a week right now. I want professionals to do the metal work so i can do the body work and spray the car. The metal work is holding me up the most. i want my car back next year so i can take it to BG, Cecil, Quaker city, and more. With that all being said im looking for a good restoration shop that does good metal work for our cars to make the job easier on me? Would anyone have a referral on a decent one around Hermitage, PA area. I dont mind driving an hour to pittsburgh, Cleveland, or up towards Erie. Just trying to get an idea on what is out there. As always thanks again to everyone on this board for helping me out! Thanks again, Greg
Would that be the guy who owns multimedia stripping, or is he another independent person with a shop?
N0 this man was a logger who played with cars. I worked for an auto parts that the boss was very very particular. This man is doing a 57 chevy convertible now for him. If your going there let me know and maybe I can meet you there. About 15 minutes from my house. Frank
How about Iveyland Collision. Nick Servo. He only mostly does Buick A-Bodies. Don't know how far this is for you, BUT may be worth the trip. He's GOOD & GOOD is not cheap & cheap is mostly NOT good.
He is 5+ hours from me so i cant make that trip unfortunately. So don fair does pretty good work then? I would be willing to load the car up and talk with him to see what is going on, because he is close
