Does anyone know where i can buy black with a red stripe and black with a yellow stripe vacuum hoses ? I have spent hours searching and only came up with black with a white stripe from a camaro place. Also black with a green stripe would be good too. I don't know why this stuff is so hard to find ? I know alot of cars use colored striped hoses under the dash and under the hood. Any leads would be great. Thanks.

Look in Inline Tube's on line catalogs. Look in the Pontiac + Olds catalogs, forget Buick. Look for the kits for the ported vac system, they have them in colors. Ames also has kits in colors. These pieces of line will probably only be a few feet long or less. Corvette suppliers have kits for the headlights, they are colored and longer. Like Corvette Central, etc. Make sure what you buy is long enough for what you want.

BTW...underdash lines are often like vinyl, and underhood lines are usually rubber.

Inline, Olds cat...pg 70. See if those help. It's always a prob if you have to call and tell them you need them for a Buick. They might not measure them for you and just say they are right for Olds.

Most of these repro hoses suck. I used the Camaro RS color coded hideaway headlight vacuum hose kit for my Riviera headlights. After 6 months, the hoses all split at the ends:spank:

I actually painted the stripes on my hoses when I replaced them....yeah, I'm sick like that

I've painted stripes also. It's not too hard, you can get Sharpies in every color of the rainbow and many different widths. Make sure you use paint Sharpies, not ink and not water-based. Stick a small dowel in the hose to hold it straight and go to work. You can get the pens a places like Michael's arts + crafts, Jo-Ann, AC Moore, etc.
