It's been about 7 or so years since posting on V8Buick. Had to walk a away for sometime once I was forced to sell my GSX back then. Divorce certainly can throw you a few curve balls at times. I'm sure most of us know what that can be like at times.:(

My Uncle was a long time Buick lover! He helped me find my GSX back in 2005 in Tennessee. He knew where the car was and put me in contact with the caretaker at that time. I will be forever grateful for his help. With the help of a few members here. I learned more about the cars history and was given great advice in restoring her back to her glory. Sadly I said goodbye in January of 2008. I've missed that car since that day.

Well.......here I am after a few years have gone by in search of, yes, another Apollo White Stage 1 GSX. Born with drive train car. I could use a little help again trying to find one. And yes I know it can be a tall order. My son is now fifteen. He was eight when we parted with that last X and has never forgotten that he aksed me not to sell it. Oh well........lifes curveballs.

If you happen to know or find a GSX as described above, please let me know. I'd be happy to pay a finders fee. I don't have the resources for a trailer queen. A nice driver would be ideal.

Thank you all for reading this! Call or text 845-594-7534

    Hi Gary,

I hope all is well with you! Thanks for the welcome back. I know you remember the car.

At the time Rich I chose BJ to sell the car. Probably not the best decision looking back. It seemed good at the time. The car went across the block late in the evening on Saturday night. It seemed as though many of the bidders had other things on their mind other than bidding. I guess that's how auctions go. Sometimes your the bug and other times the windshield.

He was very happy bringing his new GEM to his collection somewhere in Missouri or Kansas. I can't remember. He said he was the founder of some type or truck liner and he did very well for himself! I never got his name that night. I wish I did. He was truly a gentlemen!

I'm not afraid to put myself out there with hopes of finding another. My name is Patrick Fillette and I live in upstate New York. My uncle was John Ricketts. Some of you may remember him. Big AACA guy and Buick lover! His wife's name was Janet. The first women to be "President" of the AACA. I think that was back in the late 80's or early 90's. I don't remember. They both lived in Florida on the west coast.

I sold my GSX and my other GS cars/parts '08 too, also under duress...Yours was much nicer, but I feel your pain. I hope to get another someday too. What you're looking for will surface sooner or later. Fortunately, the survival rate for GSX's seems pretty high.

I'm not the purchaser of your car from Barrett but he was a friend of mine and I have acquired your old car. Rest assured it's in a good home in Kansas.

I would get in touch with 'Collector' on this board. He has been buying and selling fine quality Buicks for some time. He knows his stuff and knows where many of the good cars are located.
    Good Luck!

"Collector" John looked at the car for me before purchasing it. He was more than helpful and I'm grateful for his help. Once the restoration was complete, he even offered to deliver the car to me in New York. He was in the area when the car was completed and brought it to New York in his enclosed trailer. Back then he offered advice and helped me a lot with the car.

John if your out there, I'm sure you read this post! And anyone else. I'll continue to be patient and hopeful!

    That's for contributing guys.
