I posted my possible need in the V8 Regal section in case any of the V8 Regal guys have an extra set. Probably should have gone here first. As I stated there I am looking at picking up a 1980 Regal 2 dr cpe 231 V6, burnt orange with a nice black and white interior, great chrome and bumpers etc. I can pick it up really cheaply. Will look at it more closely Saturday. It has Regal hubcaps on black steel rims. Car is in solid nice shape and would look great with a set of factory chrome or aluminum rims. Not fussy 14 in or 15 in, either would work. Thinking about picking it up, primping it a bit and flipping it. What you guys got?
I might have a set of 16x8 black mesh style (think GNX) they are all off of a GTA Trans Am. Good driver quality. Have centers (plain) $300.00 for the set. But I will need to dig out of storage to get pic if you are interested.
I will let you know if I need them. I'm gonna pick up the car before X-mas. Once I see what I have I will know better what I want to put into it. Since I intend to flip the car I have to work on whatever needs replaced first before investing that much in wheels. However, near wheels like those always attract buyers so it's not out of the question.
