Looking for a project car Im looking for a project car to squirrel away for awhile. This will be a father- son project and my boy is 8. Im open to about any cool 2 door from the 60s or older. The pipe dream is a clean 67 Skylark with little or no bondo. No motor - trans - rearend - interior- even wrecks are what Im looking for. OR Any advice on places to look on the web or otherwise

Ever consider a 1965 Buick Sports Wagon....great project vehicle. They are good looking, getting hard to get, (I like the way I said that), and they are buicks. I have one.
1968 Gs 400 Dave, I have a very good project for you a 68 GS 400, numbers matching with a rebuilt motor and Trans....buckets too! David Roth
69 Gs350 Dave- I have a 69 GS350 that needs some more attention then i can give right now. She is red with a black top. Bench seats no A/C. 350 SBC in it right now with a th350 trans. Hooker headers, 650 Holley carb, dual 2" pipes. Runs great :TU: , just needs some body work and some interior work. -Paul
here where i live there is a wildcat i believe it is between 64 to 66. the car needs work. the body is in decent shape. no rust from what i seen. the people are asking 1100 for it but im sure you can get it cheaper then that. its been sitting there for a few months now. if anyone is interested in the car send me and i can get the number for you. i could take a pic of it if ya want it.
Try me. You could even make a road trip out of it and come to Arizona. http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=106834 I have some miscellaneous 455 parts that could go with it as well.
Dave, I have no pictures, and it is shame you are so far away. here in WA I know where there is a 67 special, gold, project car, could be bought for $1k or less. Running 300 engine about 150k miles I think. Fairly solid hood, front fenders (one dented, not bad). Solid doors (one dented, not bad). Light rust in bottom of quarters, trunk rusty, trunk lid rusty (needs replacing). Good bumper cores, cracked special/gs grille (repairable probably, I have seen many worse grilles), decent headlight and tail light trim, etc. Interior, is okay, but not great. I think it is a one or two owner (1 family), I think original paint.
