My '68 convertible has the dealer installed Guidematic. My headlight switch is bad and I need to replace it (problem with dash lights). My '68 parts book lists two headlight switch numbers-one for Guidematic. Will a standard headlight switch work, or will this render the Guidematic function inoperable? o No: The standard switches are easy to find and I don't know how hard a Guidematic specific headlight switch is to find or if they are available at all. Anybody out there know about this Guidematic system?
