You know .... I DETESTED those things when they came out new. They were EVERYWHERE. Now ...... ...... I kinda like 'em. Wish I had one. :grin:
Always loved them Only wish Oldsmobile had the balls to put that drivetrain in the 83-84 Hurst. That would have been a dynamite combination.
I bought mine last year. In '87 I paid about $19K for a Chevy S10 Blazer when I could have had a GN for less but wasn't paying attention. There's nothing like it. A silly six banger off the line then at about 2K it becomes a big block. That is unless you brake torque, then it's a monster right away. More fun than you can imagine unless you've driven one. Conveniently black, so the rubber isn't so obvious on the lower quarters.
