Preferably an easy restoration project to make the wife happy. Had one in my clutches but apparently a man's word isn't worth much these days and it was sold out from under me :af: .

Located in SW Montana...the closer the better.

    Thank you for looking.

I have 2 1970 GS 455 cars right now and need to reduce my work load . I will consider selling one . Both rust free cars needing paint . Both have rebuilt drive trains and posi's . One is 50/50 and was going to be X cloned and the other is 19/19 with 50K miles . Both cars are good easy restos but need paint and thats where I am stalled . I cannot find a Bodyman that will not bamkrupt me with their charges . I have a standing appointment to get one painted this month but he has yet to apprise me of the cost estimate . If you want to discuss one of these cars with me PM me with a phone number

I'm getting a bit more serious about selling mine.

    Here's a list. There are probably items/upgrades I've overlooked.

    1970 Buick GS 350/GS 455 Stage 1 Clone

Interior: Burnished Saddle (dark brown) buckets, console, staple shifter with Shiftworks 4-spd auto detent. Perfect AC dash, AutoMeter 2-5/8 gauges (volts, engine temp, transmission temp, oil pressure). Hurst line lock switch.
AC available but not in the car. American Graffiti AC firewall cover. Nardi 3-spoke wood steering wheel. Carpet excellent. Matching carpet floor mats.

Body: Good original panels. Original GS hood. Chevy Hugger Orange paint over original Buick Bamboo Cream. Overall very good and presentable but could use some attention after 12 years. Minor flaws. Trunk refurbished in 2005 with correct splatter paint. No rust in trunk or anywhere on the car. Bumpers very good with minor surface flaws, no dents, shiny chrome.

Wheels: 15x7 Buick Rally. Firestone Firehawk 255/60-15 tires in excellent condition. Original 14x7 Buick Rally spare with Firestone Wide Oval.

    Suspension:
Rear: Factory Rally Pac (boxed lower control arms), swaybar. Hotchkis adjustable upper control arms with poly bushings. Hotchkis panyard arms/braces.
    Edlebrock IAS shocks.
Front: Global West tubular upper and lower control arms.
New body bushings throughout. Trans Am WS6 front swaybar (1-1/4) with Energy Suspension poly end-link bushings.
This car handles as in a slot.

Ford billet bearing ends = no c-clips, no c-clip eliminators. Bolt-in Mark Williams Masterline alloy axles.
    TA Performance aluminum cover.

Brakes: Aluminum rear drums. Shoes, cylinders and small parts are new. Stock front power disc with new rotors, calipers, and pads.

Transmission: California Performance Transmissions (the real Art Carr) 200-4R 4-spd Auto Overdrive. 2500 stall CPT converter. 2700rpm at 80mph and will top 175 (on paper). 15mpg @ 80mph.
