Hello I'm posting for a family member who is in search of a 70 Electra 225 4 door. A limited is the most preferred. The more power options the better. PM if anyone knows of a good car for sale and not really looking for projects. Thanks Jon
How about a 69 https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/ctd/d/dayton-1969-buick-electra-225-original/7617106014.html
Is he/she looking for a 4 door sedan or the 4 door hardtop sedan? Limited was an option package for the Electra 225 Custom models only, not a separate series. It was only available on the coupe and the hardtop sedan.
That's an amazing car & if as advertised, worth the $ seemingly. Just don't know what I'd do w/it. I'd want to drive it but really belongs in a museum although not a super rare/desirable car either.
Waving my own flag. It's a 1972 but solid car. https://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/1972-electra-four-door-hard-top.383262/
Nice looking car but no A/C & no power options on an Electra is seemingly odd. I'd like to have one someday but think I'd want a loaded one.
The original owner likely wanted the "look" of the upper end model, without paying for all the goodies and options. So they ordered it that way. Reminds me of a super strange '71 full size Chev that was dumped at one of the El Paso yards more than a decade ago. '71 Impala coupe, all trims, but 250 Six, three on the Tree, and no AC. Wish I had seen that one, in the inprocess area, before the VIN and title were deactivated.
