I'd hate to say it but if that's the same fella and you got blocked for no reason, the chances of him selling you that car are probably pretty slim by now.
Its likely he can read threads like this one. Doubt the commentary did any favors! Have you tried going full stalker mode? Public records search, FB groups, his twitter account, place of work? lol. You MIGHT have luck if posting in a group he is active in stating simply why it is you would like to hear from him. Never know who is on his friends list.
