Hello I'm in search of the vinyl top trim for the 70 Electra 4 door. Specifically the piece in the photos as this piece was unfortunately lost in the shop. Please let me know if anyone can help
I have a 71 Electra 4 door back in the woods I can check is that left or right side. I am not sure if 70 71 are the same.
Many parts on full size interchange between '69 and '70. Not all of course. I've had a complete set of vinyl top surround trim, listed in classifieds for over seven years. From a '69 225 formal coupe. The "donor' car is now long gone. Am not breaking up the set it's likely going to "obsolete buick parts" in E Texas. You might check with him, he is not active on this board. Am guessing he has multiple other cars to part. His name is Glenn Moore, owner of Obsolete Buick Parts. Another possibility is "Buick Gardens" in Georgia, don't believe he's here, either. Buick Gardens advertises on the AACA forum. And there's the large "classic" dismantlers. DVAP, LL Classics and CTC auto ranch. Likely all of them will sell a single piece or two, off a derelict four door that doesn't get much interest. Suspect DVAP crushed a good amount of their large cars, when they evacuated their original Phoenix location.
