Look at this Frankenstein Nailhead

    Looked at this and was hoping I found a complete 425 with ST400 transmission. Saw the “JS” and knew something was not right. The “BT” ST400 was bolted up to bellhousing and flexplate was bolted to the crank. I bought it for $200 and got an extra ‘67 Buick Qjet carb as well. After pulling the transmission off I saw how they made this happen.

    That Q-jet intake is worth $500.00 on e-bay.....lots of parts there to get yer $$ back....

    Hopefully the secondary bores werent torched out on that too. And CAST IRON dont torch too well LOL... ws

    This engine and tranny came out of a ‘66 Riviera. I’m guessing the original engine died at some point and they made this ‘63 short block “fit.” Intake is a spreadbore but, I thought the same thing and had to check.
