Hey, not quite ready for it yet, but i'm curiouse as to where would a good place to get a 3 inch exaust done for my 83 regal... with a 455, TH400 combo. and what would be good mufflers to use, want it loud, but not loudest.... not sure what a decent price would be either... any suggestions? -Brendan
taperformance or summitracing for headers do yourself not many shops will have a mandrel bender so 3in pipe will be difficult to bend ta will have kit to tie in 3 in exhast to stock manifolds
Hey i have a set of headers. They're from poston i think to fit a 67 GS, but they fit great in a G body.... once again, a guy i work with has them in his, had this extra set for the 67, but they surface rusted, and he wants the GS to be nicer than that, so gues what, i got'm free just gonna put them in as is. All he had to do was use a ford starter solenoid, mounted on the firewall, worked out great.
hi..i brought two of my car to American Muffler on old country road in hempstead..theyre good and reasonable..if not go to american muffler on merrick rd in oceanside
I have seen some of Kooks work on street rods, it was nice. I think the price may be a little higher than what most people want to spend, but the work is nicer than most shops do. You get what you pay for. I would think you should be able to get a 'complete' kit from the headers back from most good speed shops. I can't remember for sure but I think Flowmaster or one of the other bigger names has kits for most common body styles that bolt/weld up to your headers/flanges. (It has been a few years since I worked for a speed shop and the memory is a little fuzzy).
summitracing.flowmaster, magnaflow,ta,poston, pypes, many companys make exhaust kits mandrel bent for popular body styles some guys even make some stuff and sell there ow stuff on ebay:Comp:
