So I had my car listed on CL for sale, and at the end of the ad I provided a link to my build thread on the forum here. What I figured out is that helped me keep track of how many people actually looked at my car and followed the link to the forum here, as my build thread "views" went up. It's not an exact science as regular guys on here obviously check out our threads from time to time, but for the first few days my thread view count was going up by 40 or 50, where it would usually only go up by 2 or 3 before having the car listed. So I could figure out each of those days that at least 30-40 people were probably seeing my car for sale on CL and following the link. It slowed back down after putting my car as "pending sale", and now that I deleted the ad it'll go back to it's usual. Just a little something to use if you go to advertise a car and have a build thread or the like posted on the net somewhere......
