Fifth paragraph- Sheen is known for his many romances. But, a little known fact about Charlie Sheen is that he also loves his 1970 Buick GS 455 Stage 1. Nearly a dozen of these cars make up his special collection. :beer :beer :beer http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/399115/little_known_facts_about_charlie_sheen.html
But, a little known fact about Charlie Sheen is that he also loves his 1970 Buick GS 455 Stage 1. >>He moves up a notch in my book for this! Nearly a dozen of these cars make up his special collection. >>I assume he has other muscle cars and not a dozen GS 455 Stage 1s!
My local tranny/rear shop told me he has worked on 4 of Sheen's GSs---when he was working on my 4spd.He doesn't know if Sheen has a 4spd. Pete
Sheen is noted for his love of the 1970 Buick GS 455 Stage 1. He currently owns 10 of the cars, including a rare GSX yellow and white GS Stage 1. He ... owns a convertible Stage 1 with a 4spd transmission and an automatic. He was the only person in the world to have brought a 2-door hardtop Stage 1 to Motion Performance in Baldwin Long Island and had them make it a mid second 10 second machine (the car is worth in excess of $600,000). Beth :TU:
Charlie Sheen was engaged to Kelly Preston in 1990. He accidentally shot her in the arm. The wound was minor, but the effect it had was serious. The relationship soon ended. :idea2:
So is Charlie Sheen a V8 buick member? It would be cool to see Some of His Cars. Someone should try and contact Him. Mybe he would Join mybe he dosen't no about the V8 Buick Page.
In the local paper here a few years ago featured a local guy who bought an older convertible that I'm pretty sure was a Buick ( maybe a Skylark ) owned by Charlie.
Just a little time check here Dana and Beth. Charlie Sheen was probably no more than 5 years old when Motion was doing their thing to new cars. I believe Motion only modified one GS in 70 maybe for Martin?
I make it a rule to never eat anything that smells like a fart before it's eaten.. 59 of em is just plain misery for whoever he is around the next day ou:
That sound more like it. There was a story on it in old cars weekly (www.oldcarsweekly.com)news/magazine a while ago. Here are some qoutes from the article: Dear Mr. Reeves: Mark, after checking your pictures and information carefully, it is my opinion that your Buick GSX VIN# XXX was not a new Baldwin-Motion new car delivery (since we did not sell new Motion Buicks), but that it was a job done (built) in our service department for a retail customer. It would have been worked on by the same mechanics who built our new cars and as such should have increased value over a stock GSX. I hope you see your way clear to restore it properly and Im sure it will be a great collector car Joel Rosen, Pres. Motion Performance, Inc. That opinion was coupled to a recollection posted on the Buick Performance Group Web site (www.buickperformancegroup.com) from a man from North Babylon, N.Y., named Bill Mahoney. Mahoney was a regular Motion buyer who had owned a 70 454 Chevelle and a 72 454 Phase III Camaro; his Chevelle had been in the shop during the late April/early May period of 1970 for upgrades, and the yellow GSX was being worked on right next to his. In fact, he even knew the two mechanics who did the work, Paul Braccini and Phil Frolic. here is the link to the article http://oldcarsweekly.com/Default.aspx?tabid=525&articleid=8580&articlemid=1524#1524Articles Don't say nothing about Charlie Sheen though - Maybe he purchased it from this guy after seeing the articleo No:
Very cool indeed. As a matter of fact,I was reading an issue of Barrett-Jackson and they had an article about celebrities buying their auction cars. The first picture they showed was of Charlie Sheen with his newly acquired 1971 GS Stage 1 Cortez Gold Convertible. If Charlie Sheen is a boardmember, let's hope he's nicer to us than what he was to his ex-fiancee'/ex-girlfriend!!!!!!
