Ahuuum... The job you fellers did is... stupendous.../ causing astonishment or wonder, AWESOME, MARVELOUS / TREMENDOUS ! You all look pretty pooped after a job well done! If you're gunna do em...do em right and you done it! :TU: Good things take a long time... GSX Eric / :3gears:
600 - 1000 hours, depending on what you start with, and how long it takes to find all the parts required. In dollars, that's roughtly 40 to 70 K in labor.
Thanks Gary.. Duane and Brad have said it for years, it's all right there in the assembly manual.. there were a few things that had to be figured out outside the manual, but with the board, and also with the volume of folks out there who are willing to help it was possible. Also, having a 55K mile car in the shop, that has not been apart, sure didn't hurt. JW
Excellent attention to detail. The crew at TSP did an outstanding job and finally brings this debacle to a close. Now when you get to Indy, make sure you release the doves away from the car. Wouldn't want one of them buggers makin' the initial deposit in the middle of Larry's hood! p
Great Job! Great looking GS! Great Job!!!! Sure Larry is more than pleased with it. :TU: :TU: :3gears: :beer :beer
Beautiful car. Jim, I think that we all share Larry's excitement with his new GS, and we all share admiration for the quality of the work done by you and your crew. We all live for moments like this. :TU:
Wow! My wife and sons are currently at our hotel in Indy waiting for JW to arrive with Limemist. Needless to say we are in awe of the pictures posted here. Hurry Jim, hurry................... :3gears: I will keep you all posted. :TU:
Today time shots were cut short by a quick rain, then the track dried out as the sun came out shortly there after. A few more time shots a little more rain, down came the tree and they called it at about 4:00. Then the sun came out for the rest of the day, but no more racing. That sucks. Tomorrow the weather is supposed to be great for the car show. I am keeping my fingers crossed as no one has seen the Limemist car yet. o No: Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock. The anticipation is killing me. Johnny
JW is on the road....probably will roll in early a.m.....it will be worth the wait, I promise....the car is stunning..... :beer
Looks great Larry!! Congradulations on a dream made true. Some very nice work By Jim and the crew up North! :TU:
I'd photoshop some elf hats on them....but I'll leave that for the other board. Wish I could've made to Indy. I hope someone takes a lot of photos!
 All I can say is... MASTERPIECE! Another outstanding example of craftmanship from the "Tri Shield Group". :TU: That car will easily make Magazines and TV. Even FOOSE would be impressed
Limemist is one of my absolute favorite colors. It looks outstanding, and I bet it looks even better in person. I didn't much care for the 71s when I got into the buicks, but the more I look at them the more I like them. The intricate grill work I think is very cool looking, not to mention the cool color, and the N25 with bumperettes... too cool! I want to see this one in person.
This car is even more awesome in person. Jim did a stunning job on this concours resto, the paint is absolutely the best. The were also lots of smiles as well from Larry. Taking GOLD in concours was also a nice touch.
Hmm.... Lenny, you are a bit too far out on that one!!! ou: The ture credit is to Jim on this paint and all details. You are misinformed to think otherwise.
