I (finally) put my new wires on tonight after everyone was sleeping, and I had to take the car for a burn. The car reacts great, but when I popped the hood I saw the spark distributed in all 8 boots. It made the white from the A/C plugs glow.

Also, I took some wires off the distributor. Some wires made the idle drop - others wires didn't (at least two). :Do No:

I was still able to lay a patch with my new BFGs, and I believe there's no miss under load.

    Is this normal?

    Thanks!

I have discovered with MSD wires that they will build up what is called plasma on the outter portion of the wires. It is mostly harmless to you and the performance of your engine. It will light up the plugs and make you think that you have serious grounding problems and your wires are arcing. It is normal and you should not be to concerned. You could always wipe down each wire with a rag sprayed with silicone but it my not make the problem go away. If you think that a couple of wires my not be fireing then you should pull the plugs for those cylenders and make sure they are in fact burning the fuel in their respective cylenders. If they are then you know they are fireing. Just make sure the wires are routed correctly. Good luck.
