I had been noticing a "ticking" sound coming from the engine lately. I have adj. pushrods and thought maybe one or two worked loose. I pulled the valve covers and did find two that seems loose. I retightened them and rechecked all the others. I noticed on two other valves that I could push the pushrod down into the lifter. I restarted the engine and still have the ticking. Do I have two collapsed lifters? If so, who has the best ones to replace the set? Thanks. Phil
I am not for sure but judging from what i've heard on the board TA performance has good parts for the buicks. I still need to find out if they have a website to get a new timing chain cover for mine.
