Concerning the abduction of the eleveen year old girl in Sarasota FL. It is my hope that the reason events like this happen is so we are inspired to pray with much zeal. It is important to remember that we are on earth for a short time, and heaven awaits for those who believe. 1 Peter 6 "In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have to suffer grief in all kinds of trials" We pray tonight that the grief may end for little Carlie, her parents, and friends. Should she still be living Lord, we pray for her safe return. Lets all pray tonight!!!!!!
They should hang that loser by his xxxx until he talks and then they should just let him lay there and bleed to death after he does. Unfortunately, he has rights that were never afforded to his victim. Prayers can only help, though. Also pray for her family.
Great idea Dan!!:TU: I'm glad someone cared enough to post this!!:Smarty: :bglasses: 1 Peter 3 12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
For Carlie's sake, I'll post my prayer: "Lord, please deliver Carlie and her family from the this evil deed . We pray that with your mercy this little girl and her family will have a chance to go on with their lives and be able to forgive this man for whatever he has done to them. Amen."
I read the news this morning. This was not the closure I had hoped for. Our time here on earth can be fleeting. Dying young under such horrific circumstances is hard to understand. The freedoms that God created us with allow us to do what is right, and what is evil. Comfort in a time like this comes from the knowledge that while the war rages on, the battle has been won and beautiful heaven awaits. Lord, send your Holy Spirit to console Carlies family and friends. We know she is in you presence now.
What a terribly sad ending to this ordeal. This is another example of why I will never feel that I am being overprotective of my little girl. But it only gets harder to protect them as they become more and more independent. 11 is certainly a difficult age to keep them reined in, and always under your watchful eye. But I am constantly amazed at the ages of some kids I see running loose in the neighborhood after dark in the summer. I'm talking 6-7-8 year olds, out running the streets at 11pm! Where's the parents?!?!?!?!?!?!?
