i have an 85 buick lesabre w/ a 307 and next year im thinkin about puttin a 455 in there.. i was wondering how hard this would be..someone told me that it should be very similar to a regal conversion as far as engine and tranny and other related swaps..if ne one has ne information that would help me out with my decision please let me know
it can be done, i used the frame pads out of '74-'76 electra headers will go in fairly easy(may need to grind frame area slightly) to run duals i modified a dual cutout crossmember from a '71-74 full size buick,olds,pontiac. wiring for HEI will need extended,and starter harness moved to passenger side. i did this swap on an '85,and an 84 le sabre, and an 81 electra i scrapped my 84 le sabre, in favor of my 2900 lb 82 regal.
