Got mines from Originality Plus. 6 month ago, after all "traditional" suppliers were running out of stock (Cars, OldBuicks, etc...) despite having the item in their lists. They are really NOS, (at least the Box gives that impression :)) not repros.
On eBay, you can see them almost permanently at 29$ starting price.
Price list of above mentionned suppliers used to be 10-15$ but not sure it was NOS.

    Super article. :TU:

Is the logo "Centurion 455" on the front fender just behind the wheel unique to 1973's ? Every time I see a f... pic of these cars, I feel I am missing something on my car :Brow:

The "455" emblem is unique to 73's only, because of the base engine being a 350 in the 1973 model.

And what about the logo "Centurion" alone. Seems you have it, and I miss it :ball: was that an option too ? On the trunk too, I have no logo at all.

The rear hide away key trunk emblem was standard on the '73s. On mine is was all cloudy so I removed it and during the late night TV days I would be watching with a small bowl of water and I was wet sanding the emblem. After a few hours every day for about a week it cleared up nicely. Then I found an extra NOS one at a flee market for....$10 buck! Need to have that spare.

As with the 455 emblems they are different than the GS 455 emblems in which they are slightly tappered to follow the down line of the fender. So they are unique to the Centurion. I'm still looking for an extra set.

The trunk key emblem was unique to the 73...

But there was an emblem on the rist side of the trunk that said "Centurion" with the logo next to it. Jean-Luc is missing that and the Centurion emblem on the front fender. On the LeSabre, the script was above the body side moulding. On the Centurion it was below, as in the picture of the cream 73.

A lot of cleaning, rust stopping, painting, polishing. taking paint out of parts that should not have been painted :Brow:

Minor Engine interventions, painting valve covers, filter box, fixing a leak on the overflow tank, changing the carb, (Recarbco, :TU: superbe 4bbls rebuilt and PRE-TUNED like new, for a very reasonable price) the starter :TU: (got an almost new on the Forum), plugs and wires. Still have a coil, and a distributor with its head, points and condenser waiting in the box (From Oldbuickparts :Do No: a lot of Taiwan stuff, but looks OK).

Sure I missed plenty of things, as I hardly can realise that all that time I spent on this f...car can fit in this single page !! :Dou:

Thanks,Adam. By the way, if one day, you have the opportunity to take a close pic of all the mess that is between the door and the body as shown on the above pic, that woukd help me know what must be painted and what should not. I already cleaned the door switch, but what about he rubbers and the hinges, hinges axles , etc...?
    Thanks.

    hmm....let's see.

Hinges and hinge pieces are body color

The door switch (little plunger in the jamb) is bare

All rubber pieces are bare (including the wiring boot)

Is there anything else in the door jamb that is in question? I can't think of any off the top of my head.
