Well the leaves around here started turning last week . I've heard Missouri winters are vicious .I've taken the Lark off of the road and I'm starting to plan my attack on the 64' during the winter/spring . Engine/Tranny is coming out, body off ,I'll be doing all bushings ,springs , sand blasting then paint .Body underside will get the full treatment as well . Like I said earlier the 64' is off the road for some time to come . I got under it last night to check the Ride Height front/rear . And found some extensive rust on the front to rear brake lines & fuel lines . Bushings of course are shot being 42 years old (build date late October 63') . So I've got a pretty long list . Might be a little slow on the resto though ,we got a Gravely Zero Turn Field Mower yesterday . The old Craftsman 46" Lawn Tractor couldn't handle the 2-3' fields and it was starting to come "Unglued" , I didn't fend to well with the seat either . What took me 3 -5 hours to cut on the "Tractor" Took 1 1/2 hours on the Gravely they're pricey but well worth it . It has a 60" Hydraulic Deck ,26 HP . Kawasaki engine , and a Hydraulic seat, even has a Cup Holder and Lights . I do cut late in the evening less heat/humility , and the grass doesn't burn as bad . :beer . I can't cut early I sleep until late morning ,usually up til 2-3 AM every night ,tonight being no different . Anyway it's been a Hectic year , Hope 06' brings good tidings . Steve
