    Hey guys,

If I were to buy one book on building a 455 what should it be?

Well, I haven't see them all, but I got the Guide to Buick Performance Engines and I found it very good. Bought it from Poston.

Is there a better one? Probably, but I am only familiar with the one book and it got the job done, for me at least.

Depending on what you "already" know about 455's, I agree, that the "Guide to Buick Performance Engines, by Steven L. Dove", IS a valuable book. There is a lot that you can learn from that, to start with.:TU:

    Thanks Guys,

I've built a few chevy motors and a ford all with good results but no buicks . I was just looking for something to give me all of the specs and tolerances and any other assembly tips that might be helpful.
    Thanks again for your help!
