OK guys, I know that we deal primarily with coil springs here, but does anybody know what to do to make a leaf spring X body 455 hook short of backhalfing the car?

for a stock application,I would almost prefer leafs over coils.
There is alot out there and leaf springs transfer the suspension action forward w/o the annoying "twist" found in most control arm suspensions.
I would look at the Cal-Trac bars, they're about the best set up going for a bolt-on.
The GSE Apollo's (2) both leave the line well w/ these bars.

    Thanks!

Thanks, Gary. I was thinking Caltracs or the new Competition Engineering Slide-A-Link bars. Anybody using the C/E bars?

Well, I just got my Cal-Tracs in and need to install them along with the subframe connectors that I've had laying in my garage for the last month. I'm thinking this is going to be a pretty straight forward installation, but want to ask if anyone knows of anything to help me out, or if there's anything anyone wishes they had done when installing theirs?

Keith, I had the chassis shop put in the frame connectors and the Cal-Tracs at the same time. I have changed the rear springs myself since then. It appears that the cal-tracs were a no brainer. The one thing that we did do was to adjust the cal-tracs preload while the car was on scales. Minor adjustment from there at the track and the car has gone straight as an arrow every sense. Good luck with your install. The cal-tracs are a great traction bar.
