    Hello all:
    Question 1:
I have a 61 LeSabre with a 364 nailhead, 2 BBL Stromberg carb. Any opinions on whether I need to use a lead fuel additive ? I usually use 87 or 89 octane, and it seems to run fine.

    Question 2:
I have one or two clacking lifters. I am trying motor medic, with some results. Do I need to do any moreif it doesn't get any worse?

Don't know anyone with a buick nailhead or not running lead additive or hardend valve seats on the street.

    What compression is your 364?

Are your lifters ticking all the time, or just at start up?

Have not used motor medic since high school and don't remember any great results, but I do remember Marvel's Mystery Oil doing wonders for my pontiac 400. Syn-Lube always made my Audi's run like new.
