The seller has received not one phone call and now tells me that he is getting ready to sell the car for scrap. Somebody must be able to use parts from this car before it gets crushed! Like a rebuilt 455!
I called the seller last year on this car and be forewarned that he is a talker, nice, but a talker. He was to provide me with photos but never did so. His description sounds like the car is VERY rusty. One thing stood out - he said he had to replace all of the power window regulators due to rust out. Still, I believe he rebuilt the motor and transmission. It would be a good cruiser while another car was under restoration, then good for parts thereafter but in my opinion not worth $1300 in today's market and not sure the seller will go lower. I don't think he will go through with scrapping, as he has owned it several years and it isn't costing him anything anymore.
