I tested the tach today on a car, only took the revs to about 3000, and the tach works smoothly. Idle returned to 750, which is where the car idles, but I will not garuntee the accuracy of the tach. I did not hook it to a test instrument. Faceplates are very nice with no rust. The screws that attach the faceplates likewise are not rusty. The lenses have light scratching which makes it difficult to get good photos. There is some very light surface rust on the outside of the tach housing, but this is typical. I did not test the bulbs, but all sockets are included except those for the tach. Those will be in the car's dash wiring.
