    darrenkp Love that Torque!

Just replaced my dist. advance stop bushing and was wondering if there is a difference in size from one source to the other and will my dist. still provided the same amount of advance as it did originally. The bushing I have is from Mr. Gasket. I realize I'll probably have to check it with a timing light, but was curious if this can be an issue.

Brass one in the Mr. Gasket kit is the biggest I've seen. Bushings can only be so big before they bind the pin in the slot. Check your total timing anyway.

I have the brass Mr. Gasket bushing in a modified stock distributor. It did not limit timing enough. Had to weld up about 1/2 the slot and clean it up with a dremel tool. Got it down to about 12*. Will need to do it again because I want only 6* advance.
