Hey Guys and Gals, Does anyone out there have any idea how large of a roller cam can be made on the T/A roller cores? Is it possible to get a 285-295 @.050 and on a 114 LCA? I am just asking. This subject came up today when I was talking with my engine builder. Thanks John
When I was looking at the Charlie Evans camshaft it looked like there was some pretty large custom roller camshafts. http://www.chicagolandbuick.org/partners/Charlie Evans cam tables.htm I believe TA makes some custom cams by special request. Give them a call, hopefully you will find what you need and your car will get even faster than what it is right now.
BIg CAM! That looks a bit like a nitrous cam spec????:Brow: I know when I talked to Scotty G. at Pat Musi Performance he mentioned grinding a cam for me in that "ball park" before I left so I'm pretty sure it do-able but I'm not sure if you can get it all the way to 114 l/c on that large of a cam because of the cores.
