I got to attend yesterday. This is a pretty big event. They had over 1,800 cars and 10,000 visitiors last year. Last year there was a catagory winning GSX from TN, but I didn't see it this year. As a matter of fact, I didn't see but a very few Buicks. :af: Guess I should have at least taken one, but dad talked me into hauling one of his Olds down. Very few Olds there also. Anyway, good fun and many nice cars to look at, along with a ton of vendors (new and old). Here's a few pics. If you live near by, it is still going on today at Chillhowee Park in Knoxville. It's a 3 day event with this being the last.

I ask the owners of this car and the yellow one above why they didn't use a 455. Both gave the same answer. We already had these sitting aroung. Who keeps 502 Chevys sitting around? :Do No:

Finally a true Buick guy. He had this one for sale with several more Buicks at home.

A little high on his asking price for me, but still a nice car with a built 430. It runs 10's in the quarter! :3gears:

I have been interested in buying a nice TA for a couple of years now. This is the best one I have seen in many years! It wasn't for sale. If it had been, I couldn't have afforded it anyway. Beautiful color with a built 455. Not a flaw on this resto mod. The owner is a true Pontiac man, but goes to Bowling Green to watch the Buicks run too. He loves all BOP's.
