he he never said I would be any good at placing countries in europe.. I am sure most europeans wouldnt either.. let alone US states.. I am shocked at how ignorant us euros are about the US especially its geography.. amongst other things..
A friend of mine was in Europe about 8 years ago. he made some friends in Austria, and they asked to visit him when they visited the US the next year. he said, sure come on by, where are you going? He lived in Boston at the time. They said, well we are starting in San Fransisco, but we only have two weeks so we need to get down to Las Vegas and then Texas. We'll stop by when we leave Houston. Stop by??? My friend asked. You realise that's like 1600 miles away, right? They were shocked
94% - 17 miles - 440 seconds and I missed my first state, Missouri, by a hundred miles or so. If only the map had the Mississippi River on it to start.
78% 51 miles 393sec. For a Canadian! Canada would be easier, what given 10 provinces and 3 territories
haha my friends say the same.. They know I live in LA but they say things like: so are you living in san francisco? I say no I am living in LA.. but isnt san francisco in la.. err. no its about 6 hours drive away...really???!!! wow... admittedly this wasnt one of my brighter friends... So anytime my uk friends critiscise you guys for not knowing anything about other countries.. I remind them that actualyl they don't know so very much themselves...
