Is Kliner still selling the clutch parts? I still need a couple parts to finish my change over collection. After the Suncoupe is finished I will be looking for the right car for a 4 gear.:3gears:

He is. I had this fork waiting to go into my 70. But I wound up sending my original to a good clutch guy and he riveted on a new clip and resurfaced the area that the bearing rides on. When he was done, the original fork looked brandy new. I was so impressed with his work, I re-used my original.

    J,

Who was it and what did he charge? I have an original that has a small piece of the clip broken off and would like to get it fixed.

He has a place next door to my friends shop. The problem is that they dont sell the clips separate. He had to take the clip off a new fork for me.

The first one he did as a favor. I have my spare fork over there right now getting the same thing done so we'll see what he charges me for that. That one was pretty screwed up too. Someone brazed it to build up where the bearing rode for some odd reason. So Im curious to see how it comes out. I dont think it will be much, but I did give him a Chevy style fork to harvest the clip from.

If you want, send me the one you have and a good clip if possible and I'll have him rivet it on for you. Otherwise I can pick up a Chevy style fork locally for you and have him do the swap.

I wonder if there is some place/ company that just sells clips? :Do No:

Those original BB forks are as rare as hens teeth.
