Kill Bill vol 1 and vol 2. Anybody else dig it as much as I did?

We rented volume 1 last week and saw 2 on the big screen last night. For pure entertainment that was one great flick. The best of its kind since Pulp Fiction and Fargo.

Watched part 1 on video and seen part 2 last night...a very differenet change in movies from the norm but a movie that you get into every second of it!!:TU:

i saw volume 1, and personally, i thought the fights were unimpressive and it dragged on something terrible. the only thing that was really artfully choreographed was the knife fight.

What was Quentin SMOKING when he thought of this movie?:puzzled: :Do No:  What were all the actors and actresses that APPEARED in this movie SMOKING, WITH Quentin?:Dou:

Kind of like, Bruce Lee meets the Matrix!:Smarty:

Uma wears a "Yellow with Black Stripe jumpsuit" like Bruce Lee wore in one of his movies.:spank: She "copies" some of Bruce's moves.

The "anime" part was TOTALLY disgusting (and this comes from a guy who LOVES "Horror Flicks", above all else!:TU: ), and way too long.:boring::sleep:

Come on, Quentin, stop "stealing" other people's stuff. Be ORIGINAL! There's a thought!:Smarty::TU:

Overall, the filming was done well, it did have an interesting storyline, so for that I actually liked it. Not one of my "favorites", but not as bad as other "Martial Arts" movies that I've seen. I'd give it a :TU:.:eek2::laugh:

I dug it. and I loved the anime scene. that was some very good artistic anime. Quintin is a HUGE Bruce Lee fan so thats why he "borrowed" some of the things used in his movies (ok like all the fight scenes). the artistic last scene in the snow though is awesome visually.

I dug the first one. and i now have that creepy whistleing song in my head now...

I have yet to see the second one.

I have seen Vol 1 but have yet to see Vol 2, loved the first one and am sure I'll love the second one as much!

    Volume two rocks!

    Kurt,
The first one was good but left me wanting to know the rest of the story. The second one was great! It not only tied the story together with no loose ends, the characters were much more developed in Vol 2 and the fight scenes were much better.

    Thanks Brian,
I will see the second one, just haven't had the chance yet

Thought one was great for the most part. Some of the scenes like Uma trying to move her big freaky feet dragged on a bit.

Looking forward to seeing the second.

Dont forget, its a kung-fu SPOOF. I'm sure that in real life, if your head gets loped off, 50 gallons of blood doesnt shoot 20 feet in the air!!!!
