Kick panel vent knobs

    On my dads '69 Wildcat convertible there are 2 knobs by the kick panels on each side. One obviously controls the kick panel vent, what does the other one do?

    The top knob opens the upper vents, the bottom opens the floor vent.

    Thanks, I had the top down when pulling on the knobs so I felt the lower vents open/close but nothing with the other knob. With the top up I may have noticed what the other knob did.
