Kick In The Posterior

    The person who replaced the starter on my 67 GS should be kicked in the posterior. He wired up the starter while it was down out of the car and when he put it back, he didn't realize the neg cable was touching the heat shield. When the car heated up, the insulation melted off battery wire, shorted out, and melted the end of the cable off at the battery. Lucky that happened or the whole car would have burned up. Just thought I would caution anyone replacing the starter. Should I bend over now?:blast:
