anyone have this happen before. I'll turn the car off. and it shuts off. the headlights are off (nor are they tied to the buzzer) and I'll open the door and the buzzer in the dash goes off. If I jiggle the tumbler arms (around the key) it turns off and sometimes goes back on. It's not a big problem now but it would be nice to fix it. Nate
My LeSabre did that every once in a while. Seemed like somthing was sticking in the ignition. It really never was a big problem though.
Nate, The problem is in the steering column. There is a set of contacts behind the lock cylinder which senses the key when its installed. To repair it you will need to remove steering wheel, locking plate and lock to access the contacts. You might also have a severely worn lock assm. Bill
