If you are one of those who used to swear by Kendall GT-1 racing oil, the old green stuff, not the junk they are making now, please read on. BRAD-PENN is the new name, and it is produced in the same refinery that produced Kendall GT-1 products for years. It uses the same formulation that was used in the original GT-1, including the famous "green" additive package (which is a semi-synthetic by the way). This product is being sold under the BRAD-PENN racing oil label in 10w-30, 20w-50, 50W and "Nitro" 70wt. It can only be purchased from their distributors, and not direct. I have become a distributor for the Racing oil line and have plenty ready for shipment. I stock the 10w-30 and 20w-50 versions only, but can order the others. Please email or PM for details.

    Thank You
    Eric

What is pricing for 10W-30. Does this formulation have any zinc in it?

    Thank you.

Yes, there is Zinc in the additive package. The price on the 10w-30 and 20w-50 is $36.00 / case of 12 quarts + shipping.

    How much zinc?

How much zinc is in it? I've been studying up on oils, not much out there with zinc.

    Thank you.

Great! I switched to Castrol when I couldn't get the green GT-1. I still have some of the old stuff. I used it for years with great results. Smelled funny and wasn't good if you had a coolant leak but otherwise it was the
    s%#t.

I remember a thread about this a year or so ago. I thought it was old news.

BTW...The railroad I work for (Buffalo and Pittsburgh RR) happens to switch the plant where this stuff is refined. I used to work up there in 2000. They get some of their oil from Eastern Ohio, but most still comes from local wells (there's even a working well behind the menu at the McDonald's drive thru in Bradford) Maybe I can get a railroad discount. Or, maybe I can show up with my truck and a 55 gal drum and get some samples from the plant ;)
